| Southern Region Respiratory Service (SRRS) was first established in 1979 to specifically provide lung function testing facilities for doctors working in the Moorabbin hospital. From the beginning, our focus has been to:
- Provide rapid service of functional diagnosis of respiratory diseases (objective measurement)
- Apply and assess treatments
- Continue long term management of disease
With a growing demand for our services, SRRS began an affiliation with the Respiratory Function Lab at the Monash Medical Centre in 1990, which remains in place today. And in 1994 SRRS moved to its current location, the Moorabbin Specialist Consulting Centre.
Today, SRRS continues to invest in the latest technology to provide doctors and patients with lung function testing facilities in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
